Under the direction of the PM Site Head / PM BU Head, has primary responsibility for developing and maintaining a successful and efficient collaboration with assigned key customers and managing their existing portfolio. Thorough, effective interaction with and
management of the local teams with overall customer project execution responsibility for existing business portfolio. Leadership, business acumen, efficient collaboration, persuasive communication with key stakeholders across the organization and
achievement of profitability results are the key focus area of the job

1.  Lead a multi-disciplinary project team for the execution of customer projects. Based on Contract/Amendment project scope, this includes the responsibility and accountable for project initiation, planning, project execution/implementation, controlling (including costs) & monitoring, and closeout.

2. Primary on-site interface for the Customer on contractual issues regarding the technical

operation and execution of the project at company. The primary interface with the Customer

regarding project execution in accordance to an approved Project Plan (includes tasking,

task owners, dependencies, timelines and cost). This includes were applicable:

resolution of issues and atypical events; review/approval of documentation, change

controls, deviations, communication of etc.

3. To be the Customers advocate on-site to ensure all customer requirements are realized.

4. Primary internal contact for questions or issues regarding contractual obligations. Has

detailed knowledge of all agreements (e.g. Development, Commercial, Quality etc)

managed and is the on-site expert for all such contracts.

5. Ensure familiarity with the relevant financial aspects of the contracts managed.

6. Maintain close collaboration and communication with Sales and Business Development

and provide technical support during contract negotiations as required.

7. Responsible for organizing and hosting visits of potential future customers to the site.

8. During the planning phase, develop detailed project plans using all resources on the

cross-functional Project Team to meet the scope and timelines as defined in the Project

Scope. Project plans need to be agreed to by the project team and the customer prior to

establishing a baseline plan.

9. Program Manager is responsible for controlling and monitoring the status and progress

of the agreed to Project Plan. This is critical to assure that the project is on track and

any issues can be proactively managed. Risk Management techniques shall also be

used to manage risks on the project.

10. Ensure the successful completion of owned projects and resolve any issues that may

hinder project success. Utilize site escalation process when necessary to resolve any

project team issues. In addition, effectively lead the project team while maintaining good

morale.

11. Co-ordinate with Sales to obtain agreement on modifications to programs as dictated by

events, scope creep and changed priorities.

12. In conjunction with Sales, assess customer requests for additional or increased work

scope. The Program Manager is responsible for capturing and clearly delineating the

scope of work requested, and for providing an analysis to Sales, for discussion with the

Customer.

13. The Program Manager is responsible to coach the assigned Project Team members in

close collaboration with line management to ensure Project Team success. Should

initiate sharing best practice with peers and appropriate line managers.

14. Keep relevant Business Unit (BU) management updated as to background, objectives

and progress of the program as appropriate via agreed monthly reporting.

15. Responsible for the receipt and routing through QA of Customer complaints. Following

resolution, the Program Manager is accountable for responding to the customer in a

timely manner.

16. Conduct internal and external Project Team Meetings to ensure that all stakeholders and

the customer are working in accordance to the agreed to Project Plan. Agendas and

Minutes are required for these meetings for accountability.

17. Attend Steering Committee Meetings (or equivalent) for relevant projects where

appropriate.

18. Responsible for annual budgeting and monthly re-forecasting via S&OP liaising with

Sales and Finance as appropriate.

19. Carefully evaluates and takes action based on customer feedback (from surveys, LL,

complaints, audit observations etc…)

20. Responsible for delivering the agreed profitability of all projects within the portfolio of

contracts managed and report as required.

21. Responsible for coordinating, arranging and preparation of customer meetings on-site

for the purpose of project team execution that can include campaign reviews, ad-hoc

process related meetings, etc. The Program Manager may be required to assist in

customer audits of the facility as required.

22. The Program Manager may be required to prepare Capital Authorization Requests if

required for individual contracts managed.

23. During the closeout phase, initiating and conducting lessons learned meetings with the

goal of determining ‘what went well’ and ‘what improvements are required’ for future

project team improvements

24. Training on products and procedures to key account manager and other departments as required
