The Commercial Development role has ownership of the commercial aspects of companies allogeneic CT business. He/She works closely with the Head of Commercial Development fro Emerging Technologies Business Unit to develop and executing the commercial strategy for the allogeneic CT business.

Develop and implement strategy for companies allogeneic Cell Therapy business. Grow sales and gross margins in line with the set targets. Expand companies service offering by developing a technology roadmap and managing the Research & Technology portfolio.

5+ years relevant industry experience.                        

BS degree with previous commercial experience (Business Development, Marketing, Sales) and a solid technical background. Advanced Business Degree and/or Cell Therapy experience desirable

Strong technical and commercial international background with 3-5 years business experience in a biotech-focused manufacturing environment.

Assess and refine strategy for companies allogeneic Cell Therapy business; immediate focus is on global expansion of commercial manufacturing footprint.

Work closely with Marketing Communications to develop, implement, and update Marketing Communication Strategy including webpages, print material and capabilities presentations.

Review prospects and leads to assure alignment with business strategy; work closely with sales to prioritize leads and provide appropriate value preposition.

Analyse the project pipeline and prioritize projects to achieve optimization of portfolio from a revenue and EBIT perspective.

Serve as the business representative and support sales at client meetings; present companies capabilities and value proposition.

Work with the Business Unit Planner and Head of Project Management to provide oversight and perform a monthly review of the financial outlook to ensure its accuracy.

Support sales with contract negotiations as needed.

Develop training plan and provide training to new and existing sales representatives; serve as point of contact for sales team to provide commercial support.

Routinely communicate with the legal team to agree on priorities and turnaround times on agreements.

On a monthly basis review project profitability and planned versus actual sales numbers with project management team.

Work with Head of Commercial Development to set guidance for pricing and agreement terms and conditions; on an ongoing basis review MSAs and SOWs to assure pricing and contract structure is accurately reflected.

Manage allogeneic R&T portfolio from ideation to launch of new service offerings including definition of technology roadmap, justification of projects, and developing launch plans.

Represent CT at trade shows and conferences; work closely with sales and marketing communications to deliver CT’s vision, mission and value proposition.

Support Head of Commercial Development building business cases and CAPEX justifications.  

Manage supply and demand planning to assure alignment between resources availability and project pipeline.
